U {Heart} Pierogis
Or you should, anyway. If you've had them, then you know what I'm talking about. It's basically Polish comfort food: flaky pastry dough filled with meats, cheeses and/or veggies and then fried. If you haven't had them, you can come to Chicago to go to The Pierogi Factory. If you can't do that, you can just read my review of the new restaurant in the latest issue of UR Chicago. No, that's not me on the cover, but I'm almost as sexy.
UPDATE: Due to new owners with a new website, my older work for UR Chicago will no longer be available online. Hopefully I'll scan them in soon with the appropriate links.
Also check out: UR Here.

maybe it's the pierogis.... speaking from family ties and a semester in Prague, let me give you a hint on eastern european foods: freezing winters + lots of beer + not many good vegetables = high cholesterol foods. enjoy.
But I don't drink beer, so I can eat as many pierogis as I want, right?
Hey Donny! I was checking out blogs in Chicago and I thought that the game I am setting up would be something fun and interesting to write about on your site. Couldn't find your E-mail, otherwise I would have done that . . . My site is a Watergun Assassination Tournament starting in April. It's kind of an edgy game and I figure that is pretty much in line with your content. Take a look and tell me what you think.

HA! I live right up the street from that place...and I thought they were going out of business because there was a giant "FOR RENT" sign in the window...good to know!
Ooh, I hope they're not going out of business. They just opened and they were planning more locations.
Oh and I like your new pic, btw. very cool and arty. I wish i had cool pics like that of myself.
